Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Pikuball for using the Pikuball app on iPhone and Android. By playing, you accept them.

The service

Pikuball is a free online pickleball game. It requires an internet connection: matches, rankings, coins and character data all live on our servers.

Your account

• Keep your password safe — accounts need no email, so if you lose the password we may not be able to restore access. Linking a Google account (optional, used for tournament entry) also gives us a way to prove the account is yours.
• Your account is yours: don't share, sell or transfer it.
• You can stop playing and request deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

Fair play

• No cheating: no automation, bots, exploits, tampering with network traffic, or abuse of bugs. Found a bug? Please report it instead.
• Usernames are public. No offensive, hateful or impersonating names — we may rename, suspend or remove accounts that break this.
• Don't disrupt matches or the service for other players.

Coins and virtual items

Coins, outfits and other in-game items are gameplay features. They cost no money, cannot be bought or sold, have no cash value, and can't be redeemed or transferred. We may rebalance prices, rewards and items as the game evolves.

Content and ownership

The game, its art, music, characters and code are owned by or licensed to Pikuball. Character base models derive from VRoid Project sample models (© pixiv Inc., used under their model license). The fox pet model is the low-poly fox by PixelMannen, rigged and animated by @tomkranis (CC-BY 4.0). Character motion capture is from the ACCAD Open Motion Project at The Ohio State University, used under CC BY 3.0. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the game — nothing more.

Availability

Pikuball is provided as-is and free of charge. We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the game or any feature at any time. Online play depends on our servers being reachable.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pikuball is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. The service is free, and our total liability to you is limited accordingly.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
